As a university brief we were asked to develop a brand identity for The Groovy Gardener, a garden design and maintenance company a cut above your everyday garden variety lawn mowing company. It was essential to the client that his personality be conveyed through the company brand. He wanted to present a lighthearted, yet professional image to his customers — visual point of difference was paramount.
In order to convey the client’s memorable personality, a purple and green colour palette was used alongside a stylised tulip character. ‘Tulip Man’ was employed as the company’s primary support graphic.
